Using the 5 core values of the Play Awhile Approach, our SLPs follow each child’s lead to support their language development journey. We use evidence based practices within the context of play to provide therapy that is fun, respectful, and effective.

Peekaboo Players
Caregiver-Tot Groups​

​Peekaboo Players is a parent/tot language series for children ages 18 months-3 1/2 years. Children will enjoy a new sensory play activity, story time, and music time. Caregivers will feel empowered to support their child's communication skills at home.

Camp Communicate
Drop Off Summer Program​
​
Designed for ages 4-8, Camp Communicate is a weekly drop- off program for neurodivergent children. Recipes, process art, sensory time, and celebrations of special interests fill our sessions. This program is designed for children who can easily tolerate a 3:1 staff ratio. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday classes have unique curriculum, so you can sign your child up for one, two, or all three!

Progress Summary/Recommendations
Stay Awhile @ Play Awhile
With Stay Awhile @ Play Awhile, parents will enjoy two hours of uninterrupted alone time in one of our private offices, while kids ages 2-6 engage in two hours of supervised play in our sensory gym. Each week, we rotate our sensory bins and art activities, while our stepping stones, jungle gym, and sensory wall are always available.
